The 42nd edition of the country's biggest trade fair, which is due to be held over 10 days in the capital, will open its doors later today.

The organisers of the second Health Facilities Infrastructure exhibition, which was due to take place on 24 April, told the Libya Monitor the event has been postponed to December.

An event planned by the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) for next week has been delayed until "more suitable conditions" prevail.

Oil & Gas Libya 2014, which was due to take place in Tripoli in May, has been cancelled due to lack of support from the National Oil Corporation (NOC).
