Libya's Prime Minister Ali Zeidan was seized from the Corinthia Hotel on the morning of 10 October.

Details of the group which carried out the abduction are still unclear.

Zeidan had been out of Libya since 6 October on official visits to Morocco and Tunisia, only returning on 9 October.

The Ministry of Justice published a statement saying that the Attorney General had not issued a warrant for Zeidan's arrest.
